February Business Feature: Rubi Agave

In 2012, owner and general manager Ruben Pazmino, wanted to open a restaurant that was unique to Homer Glen. Rather than in the city, he thought it would stand out more and be a special place in Homer and he was right! There is no restaurant in the local area that is quite like Rubi Agave. The ambiance is colorful and bright, there is always great food and sensation through the air; It is truly a great place to be. 

One of the things that makes it so special is the Latin American cuisine they specialize in. It is more than just Mexican food. It is truly the best parts of all the Latin countries that make up Latin America. 

Rubi Agave also features what Pazmino called “Latin American Fusion.” This means combining foods such as lasagna with Latin America flavors and ingredients to create their Puerto Rican Lasagna, which he said is one of his favorite dishes.

The unique and exotic experience can also be attributed to their full service bar that is open during all business hours that features specialty margaritas, sangria and so much more. They also have bottle service, unlike any restaurant in the area. 

Are you not impressed enough yet? It gets better. Rubi Agave also has entertainment such as a DJ on Friday and Saturday and Carry-out!

The pandemic really exploded their carry-out business and they enhanced their food even more to give the customer the taste of Rubi at home.
