May Monthly Feature: Torro
Torro is a new Mexican/Asian fusion restaurant that brings Asian flavors and Mexican traditions together. Torro aims to bring the atmosphere of Chicago to the suburbs, according to their website. The restaurant itself is located just off Farrell Road and 159th street and they are open Tuesday through Sunday, with varying hours daily. They also host a happy hour from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday and Thursdays.
When you dine-in at Torro, the chef recommends that you order three to five dishes to sample among your group. This ensures that you get a wide selection of flavors and really become immersed in their atmosphere.
“Torro has been a unique addition to Lockport that offers a variety of different items on their menu. If you like sushi, you won’t be disappointed. I loved the presentation of food and the atmosphere!” Managing Broker Kristen Shedor said.
Torro offers private events, catering and takes reservations! All can be booked through their website as well as over the phone!
Menu options include sushi such as the rainbow roll, dragon roll and California Roll, carne asada, birria ramen, desert options such as moochi ice cream, tres leches and velvet churros, and wine and several cocktails.
If you are looking for a new restaurant experience, try Torro!
