November 2021 Holiday events near Lockport, IL

This is the time of year when everyone starts to say “Can you believe it’s already November,” or “Where did the year go.” All these sentiments are echoed over and over again. And with them, comes the annual events. We have compiled a list of events happening throughout the Chicagoland area during November. 

* Please note: this is not all the events, there are too many to name. This is simply a short list of a few events happening near Lockport, IL* 

November: 

Holiday Market at Joliet Mall: Over 50 local vendors, crafters and artisans will be at this event! Just in time for the holidays, enjoy some good food and get that much needed shopping accomplished!

Christkindlmarket of Chicago: This year marks the 25th of the Christkindlmarket in Chicago! Enjoy all the festivities the market has to offer and soak up the holiday atmosphere.

When: Nov. 19- Dec 24

Sundays – Thursdays: 11am – 8pm

Fridays – Saturdays: 11am – 10pm

ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo: The holiday lights display begins across the whole zoo and will be on until January. Visit the zoo and enjoy the bright holiday lights.

Christmas Crossroads: Stop by the 50th anniversary holiday market held by the Lockport Women’s Club! There will be over 170 vendors present

Where: Lockport High School East Campus, 1333 E 7th Street, Lockport, IL 

Orland Park Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony: Join Orland Park for a holiday parade and holiday festivities that include a visit from Santa, live entertainment, a holiday market and the annual tree lighting! 

When: Nov. 28 

Starts at 3:30 PM

Parade begins at 4 PM 

Tree lighting at 5 PM
