Our Favorite Things to Do in Orland Park

Orland Park, the “World’s Golf Center,” is a hot spot for plenty of food, shopping, and entertainment. This blog will cover our favorite things to do all across Orland Park. Can you guess the first topic we will highlight?

Golf! Just down the road from Orland Square, Silver Lake Country Club is one of the nicest golf courses in the area. Silver Lake Country Club boasts 45 holes and 3 different courses. The country club also hosts private events like weddings and baby showers. If you enjoy golf, Silver Lake Country Club is a top option to check out in Orland Park. 

Gaston's Bistro is a restaurant that offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Gaston’s Bistro offers a huge variety of dishes, from soup, to sandwiches, to pasta, to seafood! A few of our favorite dishes from Gaston’s are the Portobello Mushroom sandwich, the chicken bowtie pasta and the veggie burger! 

Another must-try spot is Blissful Banana. This restaurant offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. They have some absolutely delicious options! If you are a coffee lover like us, we recommend you try their Gorilla Coffee (Iced coffee blended with frozen banana and mocha). Blissful Banana has some of the best food around, especially their breakfast.

You can’t mention Orland Park without these last two spots. Orland Park Bakery is a favorite among just about any Orland Park resident. The bakery features fresh sweet treat items from wedding cakes, to coffee cakes, to donuts, to paczki. If you are reading this blog before Easter, then Orland Park Bakery’s Paczki is an absolute must try item. The paczki is only available during Lent, so get them before they are gone!  

Last but not least, Centennial Park. Centennial Park is a huge park with walking trails, baseball fields, soccer fields, dog parks, fishing spots, ice rink, skate parks, and a huge water park! There are truly so many different experiences at Centennial. The water park will open on May 27, 2023. You can even rent kayaks to use on the lake. This spot is amazing for anyone looking to get outside and have an abundance of fun-filled options to experience all in one spot.
