Pumpkin Patches to visit this fall
The cool breeze has come in and it means it is time for fall. With fall comes all the wonderful seasonal activities we all wait for: Pumpkin Patches! We all love the crisp taste of apple cider, the smell of hay, the bright colors of pumpkins all around and the freshly fallen leaves that coat the ground and crunch under your footsteps. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect fall day? If it does, you're in luck because the Chicago suburbs are full of places just like that!

Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm, 13341 W 151st St, Homer Glen, IL 60491
Price: $18.99 Monday through Thursday, 21.99 Friday, $29.99 Saturday and Sunday for guests over 2 years of age

Bengston’s has over 13 different attractions including a brand new track ride called the Rooster Rodeo! Enjoy several amusement rides such as the Barrel Blast, the Barnyard Dance Cow Coaster and the Rockin’ Rabbits ride! They also have mining for arrowheads and gemstones, pig races, hay rides, a haunted barn, farm animals and a petting zoo and so much more! There are fun activities for everyone!

Konow’s as the name suggests has two corn mazes, hay rides, train rides and a lot of play areas for kids. They also have corn pits, a straw playground, mining, a mechanical bull and an animal barn! We could keep going, but check it out for yourself!

The Cottonwood Pumpkin Fest features over 35 activities! This includes duck races, a ghost town railroad, a u-pick pumpkin patch, a corn maze and truck rides. The fun doesn’t stop there. They have a mountain slide, a goat house, a haunted barn, even more farm animals and more! There is too much to list it all! Enjoy all the fall fun they have to offer!
